Our Story

Thimbleleaf is a faith-rooted, bookish handmade shop for the small comforts of a reading life: keeping your place, settling into another chapter, and taking a little creative project along.

The bags began with a simple wish: something pretty to carry my Bible-study essentials, a light read, or a small creative project when I go out. That balance of beauty and everyday usefulness runs through Thimbleleaf, from a bookmark tucked into Scripture to a crochet blanket waiting in a reading chair.

Our Scripture bookmarks tuck into your Bible, devotional, journal, or current read. Crochet reading blankets bring warmth to a favorite chair. Bookish bags carry a few books, notebooks, drawing supplies, or a small yarn project, while beaded keychains add a pretty personal touch to the keys you take along.

Inspired by cottage gardens, old-fashioned details, and softly moody colors, Thimbleleaf brings together faith, stories, and making things by hand. Some pieces are sewn or crocheted from the beginning; others start with a ready-made base and are decorated and finished by hand.

Everything is made or finished in small batches, with care for the everyday moments it belongs in—a quiet Bible study, an afternoon reading, or a few rows of crochet between chapters.
